Riker is a lifelong member of the Alpha Gamma Kappa Chapter of the Alpha Psi Omega Honors Society, where they served as Vice President for one year. They are currently the secretary for Theatre du Mississippi; they have spent the last two seasons of TdM's Original One Acts Production as a Production Stage Manager and served as an ensemble member in Hairspray, a landmark production nominated for 23 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards. They also spent 5 years in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Winona State University, working as a stage manager, actor, wardrobe supervisor, and dramaturg. Winona State University, located in southeastern Minnesota, has been a platform for Riker to hone their varied skills and interests in both the technical side of theatre and the acting side. During the 2021-2022 WSU Season, Riker was involved in 6 of the 7 productions, stage managing 5 productions, and acting in another. Since graduating in 2024, Riker has branched out to other companies, giving them varied experience with regional theatres, which allows their communication skills and ensemble-building to grow.

At the moment, Riker is working full-time for Chartwells Higher Education as their Night Retail Supervisor. However, they participate in Theatre du Mississippi's Original One-Acts and Murder Mysteries. They work alongside TdM's Managing Director, Kara Eggers, to further expand their knowledge of stage management and further explore acting. They are currently researching graduate schools to apply for either an MA or a PhD in Dramaturgy or an MA in Historical Linguistics. They have also applied to Cosmetology School for the 2026-2027 school year. Riker is also particularly proud of her work with Theatre du Mississippi, as she has learned how to work in shorter rehearsal time, while managing effective communication with directors, actors, and TdM staff.
