A Midsummer Night's Dream was my Senior Capstone Project at Winona State University. Since it would aid the cast to have someone present the historical research for the time period in which the play was set. I specifically worked with Theseus on how to present himself like a high-class businessman, rather than just a hoity-toity king.

As well, I was cast in this production, meaning I was also working with fellow cast members on their pronunciation (when I was off stage), so we could have a coherent dialect.

I also had a display board in our lobby presenting the information I compiled. I took the most interesting and relevant Greek myths and brought them to life on the board. It was a way to inform not only the cast, but also community members on the history and the literary references that may not be recognized by everyone.
